Hydra is Coda Plastic Ltd.’s brand new handled bottle range. The bottles have been designed by our development team to be suitable for a wide range of applications. The 1-litre bottle is already available and we are launching the 500ml version in October 2017. We’re expecting this product to be really popular, so watch this space for further announcements of bottles in our Hydra range.
High-Quality HDPE Handled Bottles
The bottles are blown from High Density Polyethylene in our UK facility. Our facility is rated AA by BRC Global Standards – the company that offer the most rigorous third-party certification scheme. Bottles in the Hydra line will be compatible with the Coda Standard CRC Dosing Cap. We will also produce a version with a neck that can accommodate an SK38 cap.
Mythological Antecedents
In Greek mythology, Hydra is the serpent slain by Heracles during the second of his twelve labours. The giant snake had multiple heads and in some accounts of the myth each time Heracles chopped one off, two would grow back. Our Hydra bottle doesn’t have magic regenerative properties, but we can manufacture it with a number of different of different neck/cap combinations upon request.
Optional Extras
A tactile warning triangle is available as an option on both the 1-litre and 500ml bottles. You can also customise the colour of the plastic that you would like your bottles to be moulded from. The colour of the plastic can complement your company brand or product labelling.
We also have plans to launch a 250/300ml bottle later in 2017. We’ll keep you posted nearer the time.
