Coda Plastics has been a company since 1973 and due to the innovative designs and hard work we have put in over the last 42 years we are proud to say we are one of the largest independently owned plastic packaging manufacturers in the UK. Our knowledge is well recognised in the industry and this has been reflected in receiving three Starpack awards as well as the 2011 UK Packaging Award for ‘Best Packaging of a New Product’.

Bespoke Packaging
One of our main strengths at Coda is that we have got the expertise and experience to help start-up companies and well-known brands. We are with you every step of the way, from the early stages of the product design, to the product development; we can deliver bespoke solutions that will set you apart from your competitors. As well as providing you with dedicated support, we also offer concept design and rapid prototyping across a variety of markets such as personal care, household, pharmaceutical and food.
High Standards
As a plastic packaging manufacturer it’s important to have state of the art equipment for us to be able to grow as a company. We recently invested in some new KraussMaffei injection moulding machines; this will increase our capacity, making it possible for us to assist new and existing clients more efficiently. At the moment, we are currently having a new extrusion blow-moulding machine installed too.
We are very happy to have entered the food market and by doing so we have received high standard certifications from the British Retail Consortium food packaging standards, accredited an A grade status as a direct food contact packaging manufacturer and is now a Coca-Cola accredited manufacturer. One of our most recent achievements was providing the packaging for
Nespresso compatible coffee pods. These were made for our client CafePod which is one of the largest Nespresso compatible brands in Europe.
The pharmaceutical market is another string to our bow as we have developed many different products for this industry such as hypodermic syringes. We have been audited by a number of our clients and have been able to reach to a high level pharmaceutical standard.
As we mentioned earlier, we work alongside some of the biggest leading brands in the personal care market which we have held a strong position in for many years now. We have also worked alongside Proctor & Gamble, Jeyes Parozone and the Bin Buddy, who are all leading brands in the household market.
Company Growth
Most of our market is based in the UK but we also supply our packaging across the whole of Europe and as far as East Africa, Indonesia, India, Australia and the U.S. We are very proud of achievements and accreditations as it puts us in a strong position to advance in the food and pharmaceutical markets and are currently working on a number of new and innovative medical developments.
