Our Rapid Prototyping Service
Come to us with a concept and we can turn it into a prototype that you can use to show potential buyers. Once the orders start coming in, we can produce your product in bulk. You have a few options for how we produce your prototype:
- 3D Printing Service. We can produce a working scale model of your design on a 3D printer. If your product is large or made up of multiple parts, a 3D scale model can be more easily demonstrated to your potential buyers. A 3D printed plastic prototype can typically be made ready in 1-2 days.
- Rapid Tooling Service. Rapid tooling creates a version of your product that you can use for demonstrations at sales launches before you go into full production.
- Rapid Injection Moulding Service. We offer a low volume run of your product on our injection moulding machinery - a practise run producing only a few prototypes. For more complex products, this may take up to twenty days.
Protecting Your Intellectual Property
Before we begin working on a new project, everybody involved signs a confidentiality and mutual non-disclosure agreement. Your design secrets are safe with us. If you need us to, we can connect you with registered patent attorneys. Their job is to make sure that you have adequate protection for your intellectual property. This could take the form of design registration, formal patent or trademark protection.
We can’t promise that your fledgling business will be able to snare a dragon in its den, but we can make you a working prototype and make sure that your intellectual property is protected right from the get-go.
